On April 29, 2024, Piano Night was held. I got a virtual video stream ticket.

Piano Night 2024 Lineup included:

Bill Payne of Little Feat, Marcia Ball, Jon Cleary, Terrance Simien with Danny Williams, Joe Krown, Lilli Lewis, Courtney Bryan, Kyle Roussel, Keiko Komaki, Oscar Rossignoli, Tom McDermott, David Boeddinghaus, Rickie Monie, Larry Sieberth, John “Papa” Gros, Josh Paxton, Tom Worrell, Jesse McBride, Al “Lil Fats” Jackson, Victor Campbell, Shea Pierre, Mari Watanabe, CR Gruver, Yoshitaka Tsuji (Z2), Joe Ashlar, BC Coogan, Steve DeTroy, and River Eckert.

Marcial Ball is one of my most favorite musicians. I saw her at Milwaukee Summer Festival. Yes, Little Feat also appeared there. What a coincidence both Marcial Ball and Bill Payne of Little Feat played at the same venue!

I was also glad to see the Japanese musicians such as Keiko Komaki, Yoshitaka Tsuji, and Mari Watanabe.

Jon Cleary and Joe Krown are also my favorites.

Anyway, if you know local legends such as Professor Longhair, Dr. John, Fats Domino, Huey ‘Piano’ Smith, Allen Touissant, and James Booker , this is the right event to watch.

It lasted probably 7 hours. Thanks for the great piano music. I wish I could watch it next year too. What an incredible night this was!
